What are hypopressive exercises?

Hypopressive exercises are gentle techniques that use a combination of specific rhythmical breathing, combined with postural holds and mindful movement, that activates the pelvic floor and deep core muscles. Hypopressives are very achievable for all. You do not need to be fit or flexible.

Anyone of any age, size, shape or ability can enjoy and benefit from Hypopressive exercises. For more information, please visit Lara’s website, at www.mycorephysio.co.uk

What are their benefits?

  • Trains and restores core and pelvic floor muscles
  • Improves tummy tone, sex, health and wellbeing
  • Improves bladder and bowel control
  • Increases power and prevent injury
  • Aids cardio-pulmonary function and recovery

“The workshop was so informative. The technique is straightforward and empowering. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend attending.”
